Stabiliser & Bow Thruster Overhaul, Motor Yacht Hardstand Refit

A snapped swim platform strut brought us aboard in the water; the haul-out that followed became a full overhaul of both stabiliser fin shafts, the bow thruster gearbox and the platform lifting gear. Sleeve bearings, seals and spacer plates renewed with custom tooling, saltwater-contaminated thruster rebuilt, redesigned billet clevis arms fitted, all signed off underway on sea trial.

Marine Sanitation & Seacock Replacement, 11m Flybridge Cruiser

A blocked toilet system led us below the waterline to a far more serious find, a badly corroded seawater-intake seacock that could have sunk the vessel. We rebuilt the black-water system and renewed every below-waterline fitting before relaunch.

A routine Evac vacuum-pump overhaul aboard a visiting superyacht uncovered a failed electric motor, beyond economic repair. With the yacht bound for the Pacific on a tight schedule, we rebuilt the pump end, sourced a replacement motor from Europe and ran a six-unit fluid-analysis program that caught fuel dilution in a main engine before it became a breakdown.

Hauled out at GCCM with heavily fouled intakes and bronze sea strainers seized solid, this superyacht received a complete raw-water overhaul, old stainless pipework stripped out, strainer housings refurbished in our workshop with new lids, custom 316 studs fabricated, the stern thruster serviced and a new air-conditioning circulation pump commissioned before relaunch.

Telescopic Tender Crane Overhaul & Dyneema Renewal, Motor Yacht

A telescopic tender-garage crane came out of service with a worn dyneema lifting line and stripped mounting threads. Working at the berth with a purpose-built lifting setup, no shipyard crane, we removed the crane, extracted the internal extension arm, renewed the line, repaired the threads and load-tested with a water bag before signing off a full tender lift.
