Based at Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera, we prioritise breakdown and emergency repairs during business hours (Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm).
We get an engineer to your vessel — dockside at the marina, on the water, or via an arranged tow-in — as fast as we can. We respond to engine and generator failures, electrical and battery faults, steering and thruster problems, and water ingress, on recreational and commercial vessels.
Common breakdowns we respond to
Engine Failure or Won't Start
Won't crank, overheating, sudden power loss, or won't restart at the ramp or underway. We diagnose and repair inboard and outboard engine faults — often same-day within business hours.
Generator Failure
Lost onboard power? We fault-find and repair Northern Lights and other marine generators, carrying common parts so we can get your systems back up fast.
Electrical & Battery Faults
Flat or failing batteries, charging problems, or a total electrical failure underway. We trace the fault across batteries, charging and distribution and restore power.
Steering & Thruster Failure
Loss of steering, hydraulic faults, or a Sleipner Side-Power thruster that's stopped responding mid-manoeuvre. We get you steering and docking safely again.
Water Ingress & Bilge
Taking on water or a failed bilge pump? Once crew safety is assured, we locate the source, stop the ingress and repair the cause. (Life at risk? Call 000 or Marine Rescue first.)

We diagnose over the phone where possible and confirm what's needed.
Mobilise
An engineer comes to you dockside at Gold Coast City Marina, on the water, or we coordinate a tow-in if your vessel can't move — bringing the likely parts.
Repair
We fix on the spot where we can, or fast-track the repair at our Coomera base.

We’re based at Shop 34, 76-84 Waterway Drive, Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera QLD 4209, and respond to breakdowns at the marina and across the surrounding Gold Coast waterways — Sanctuary Cove, Hope Island, Runaway Bay, Southport and the Coomera River. Beyond rapid Gold Coast response, we also arrange mobile breakdown callouts and repairs for vessels across South East Queensland and into New South Wales.

Do you offer 24/7 emergency support?
We provide priority breakdown and emergency repairs during business hours, Monday–Friday 7am–3pm. For a life-threatening emergency on the water, call 000 or Marine Rescue Queensland on VHF channel 16.
What should I do if my boat breaks down on the Gold Coast?
Ensure crew safety first; if life is at risk call 000 or Marine Rescue. Then call MSA on 07 5612 7161 with your location and the fault, and we'll triage and mobilise.
Can you tow my boat?
We coordinate a tow-in to Gold Coast City Marina so repairs can start; the tow itself is carried out by Marine Rescue / VMR or a tow operator.
What emergencies do you handle?
Engine and generator failure, electrical and battery faults, steering and thruster failure, and water ingress — on recreational and commercial vessels.
