Marine Solutions Australia provides scheduled boat servicing from Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera, for vessels across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. We service inboard and outboard engines, generators, watermakers, air conditioning, thrusters and trim systems, anchor winches and onboard electrical systems on recreational and commercial vessels. As an authorised dealer for Northern Lights, Spot Zero, Muir, Sleipner Side-Power, Zipwake, Frigomar and Kova, we service those systems to the manufacturer’s schedule with genuine parts, and we service all other major brands alongside them. Boat servicing we carry out
One team, one visit: the engine service can take in the generator, the watermaker and the winch while we're aboard.
Engine Servicing
Inboard and outboard engine services across all major brands: oil and filters, fuel filters, impeller, belts and anodes, with cooling and exhaust checked while everything is open.
Generator Servicing
Northern Lights and other marine generators serviced to the manufacturer's schedule with genuine parts.
Watermaker Servicing
Spot Zero and other reverse-osmosis watermakers: filters, membrane condition and water quality checked so production stays at spec.
Air Conditioning Servicing
Frigomar and all major marine air conditioning brands: refrigerant charge, raw-water flow, strainers, pumps and condensate drains.
Thruster & Trim Servicing
Sleipner Side-Power thrusters and Zipwake interceptors serviced alongside every other brand: seals, anodes and gearleg oil on schedule.
Anchor Winch Servicing
Muir and other windlasses: motors, solenoids, clutches and gypsies checked and greased so the anchor comes up when it should.
Electrical & Battery Checks
Batteries, charging systems and shore power checked by licensed marine electricians during the same visit.
Plumbing & Sanitation Servicing
Toilets, holding tanks, pumps and seacocks serviced before they become a haul-out problem.
Found a fault instead?
If something has already failed, that's a repair, and we do those too.
For the full workshop scope behind the servicing, see our marine engineering services. On larger vessels the same engineers handle superyacht engineering and refit support, dockside and on the hardstand.
Due for a service?
Tell us the vessel, the engine hours and what's booked her in. We'll come back with a written quote and a date.
Servicing on schedule, not on failure
Salt water and vibration wear marine systems whether the vessel is used or not. The service schedule exists because the wear doesn't wait.
A good share of the breakdowns we attend trace back to a missed service: an impeller past its date, a fuel filter that never got changed, an anode long gone. Engine makers publish a schedule in hours run and months elapsed, and the service falls due at whichever comes first. We log what was done and when, so the next one is a known date rather than a guess.
- Based at Shop 34, 76-84 Waterway Drive, Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera QLD 4209, Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera.
- Mobile service vans working berths and marinas across the Gold Coast and SE Queensland.
- Pre-season and lay-up services timed to how the vessel is actually used.
- Haul-out coordinated through the marina shipyard when below-waterline work is due.
What sets the price of a service
Four things, mostly: the engine and its hours since the last service, how many systems are on board, how the vessel is accessed, and which parts fall due this time. A single outboard at a trailer club and a twin-diesel cruiser with a generator and air conditioning are different days of work. That is why we quote in writing against your vessel rather than publishing a price list, and the quote is itemised before any work begins.
Why owners book their servicing with us

Gold Coast boat servicing, common questions
Intervals, what's included, outboards, mobile servicing and quotes.
How often should a boat be serviced?
Follow the engine maker's service schedule. It sets an hours figure and a time limit, and the service falls due at whichever arrives first. Salt water is hard on cooling circuits and anodes even when the engine barely runs, so a vessel that sat idle for a season still needs its checks. If you are not sure what is due, tell us the engine and its hours and we'll work through the schedule with you.
What does a boat service include?
For an engine, the core of a service is oil and filters, fuel filters, the raw-water impeller, belts and anodes, with the cooling and exhaust systems checked while everything is open. Generators, watermakers, air conditioning and deck machinery each have their own schedule items. We agree the scope in a written quote before work begins, so you know exactly what is being done.
Do you service outboards as well as inboard engines?
Yes. We service outboard and inboard engines across all major marine engine brands, and the same visit can take in the generator, watermaker, air conditioning or anchor winch rather than booking each separately.
Can you service my boat at its berth?
Yes. Our mobile vans service vessels at berths and marinas across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland, and we work dockside at our own base at Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera. When below-waterline work is due, we coordinate haul-out through the marina shipyard.
Do you publish a servicing price list?
No. The honest answer is that a flat price list either overcharges the simple jobs or understates the real ones, because the work turns on the engine, its hours, and how many systems are on board. We quote each service in writing before any work begins, and the quote is itemised so you can see where the labour goes.
Do you service brands you are not a dealer for?
Yes. We are an authorised dealer for Northern Lights, Spot Zero, Muir, Sleipner Side-Power, Zipwake, Frigomar and Kova, and we service those systems to the manufacturer's schedule with genuine parts. Every other major brand of engine, generator and onboard system is serviced alongside them.
