Marine Solutions Australia provides superyacht engineering, refit and support from Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera, across the Gold Coast, Queensland and New South Wales, and with mobile teams travelling throughout Australia and the Pacific. Our engineers carry out the work directly, including stabilisers and thrusters, anchoring and deck machinery, watermakers, marine air-conditioning, onboard power, fuel purification and refit engineering. The team holds qualifications including Certified Machinist and Fitter, MED2, Master 5 and Marine Engineer Class 3, with a degree-qualified Engineer in Merchant Marine Machinery on the team. We are an authorised Australian dealer for Northern Lights, Spot Zero, Muir, Sleipner Side-Power, Zipwake, Frigomar and Kova, and we install and service Alfa Laval equipment. Superyacht engineering and support
Stabilisers & Thrusters
Installation, maintenance and repair of Sleipner Side-Power stabilisers and thrusters, plus Zipwake interceptors and dynamic trim-control systems. We calibrate sensors and controllers, resolve hydraulic and electronic faults, and tune each system to the vessel, reducing roll at anchor and underway for a noticeably more comfortable, safer ride on long passages.
Anchoring & Winching
Muir anchoring systems including windlasses, capstans and related deck equipment. We supply, install and service the full range, fault-find hydraulic and electric drive problems, and rebuild worn gear so ground tackle deploys and recovers reliably, critical when anchoring a large vessel in changing conditions or holding station in a tight anchorage.
Davits & Lifting Equipment
Davits for tender and toy handling, passerelles and other onboard lifting solutions. We install, load-test and service lifting equipment to keep launch-and-recovery safe and smooth, address hydraulic and structural issues, and integrate new davits with the vessel's power and control systems during refits and upgrades.
Watermakers & Filtration
Supply and servicing of reverse-osmosis watermakers for fresh-water production at sea. We commission new units, service membranes and high-pressure pumps, troubleshoot output and water-quality issues, and maintain filtration so the vessel produces clean, reliable fresh water on extended cruises without dependence on shore supply.
Marine Air-Conditioning
Installation and servicing of Frigomar air-conditioning and refrigeration, ensuring optimal climate control onboard. We diagnose cooling-capacity, compressor and chilled-water faults, service raw-water circuits, and keep cabins, galley and crew spaces comfortable in tropical conditions, climate control owners and guests expect to simply work.
Onboard Power Systems
Northern Lights generators, installation, maintenance and repair, and Alfa Laval fuel-purification systems for clean fuel management. We service both to manufacturer specification, carry common parts, and keep onboard power and fuel-conditioning reliable so essential systems stay running at sea and at anchor.
General Marine Engineering

Ongoing Vessel Support
Continuing support to keep our clients’ vessels covered wherever they are. We build planned-maintenance relationships with owners and captains, hold service histories, and stay across each vessel’s systems so support is informed and responsive, not starting from scratch every time something needs attention.
Qualified engineers, direct accountability
The people who assess the vessel also carry out and document the engineering work. Our Gold Coast team can support the same vessel locally, interstate or during a Pacific cruising program.

Superyacht repair, dockside and on the hardstand
When something fails on a superyacht, the repair rarely waits for a convenient port. We repair superyachts dockside at any Gold Coast marina and on the hardstand at Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera, Australia’s largest superyacht shipyard precinct, with our own engineers diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, sanitation, power, propulsion and deck-machinery faults rather than coordinating third parties.
Because vessels run on tight cruising schedules, we work the way captains and management need us to: stripping and rebuilding equipment in our Coomera workshop, running global parts searches in parallel with the repair, and dispatching parts to the vessel’s agent at her next port when she can’t stay. We also handle marine insurance repairs and assessments, provide priority breakdown response during business hours, and carry out general boat repairs on tenders and support vessels alongside the mothership. Recent hardstand work includes a complete raw-water and sea-strainer overhaul , pipework renewed in 316 stainless, both strainer housings refurbished in our workshop, delivered inside a two-week window.
Sanitation Vacuum-Pump Rebuild & Motor Replacement, Visiting Superyacht
A routine Evac vacuum-pump overhaul aboard a visiting superyacht uncovered a failed electric motor, beyond economic repair. With the yacht bound for the Pacific on a tight schedule, we rebuilt the pump end, sourced a replacement motor from Europe and ran a six-unit fluid-analysis program that caught fuel dilution in a main engine before it became a breakdown.

Are you an agent, or do you carry out the work yourselves?
We are a marine engineering company rather than an agent. Our Class 3, MED2 and Master 5 qualified engineers carry out stabiliser, thruster, watermaker, air-conditioning, power and refit work directly.
Do you travel to superyachts outside the Gold Coast?
Yes. We support vessels throughout Australia and the Pacific, travelling to Cairns, Airlie Beach, the Whitsundays, Hamilton Island, Sydney, Fiji and other remote and offshore locations, with mobile engineering vans for on-site work.
What superyacht systems do you service?

Our team holds recognised marine-engineering qualifications including Certified Machinist and Fitter, MED2, Master 5 and Marine Engineer Class 3, with a degree-qualified Engineer in Merchant Marine Machinery (STCW-certified to Chief Engineer level) on the team.
Can you prepare a vessel for classification survey?
Yes. We carry out planned maintenance, system servicing and the engineering work needed to prepare a vessel for class and flag survey, and we document the work to support compliance.
