About us

Marine Solutions Australia is a specialist marine engineering and technical services provider, supporting superyacht and commercial marine clients with engineering, equipment supply and project delivery. Our work covers power systems, generators, hydraulics, stabilisers, watermakers and whole-vessel maintenance throughout Queensland.

About the role

As a Marine Engineer/Technician, you’ll work with premium brands alongside a dynamic team known for technical excellence (Mon to Fri, 7am to 3pm).

You’ll be responsible for:

• Diagnostics, troubleshooting and performance testing
• Installing and integrating mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
• Servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
• Commissioning, sea trials and hands-on technical support
• Technical support for captains and vessel owners
• Onsite and marina-based work across the Gold Coast

What you’ll bring

• Full Australian working rights or citizenship, essential
• Minimum 2+ years' hands-on marine engineering experience or similar
• Specialised experience in mechanical marine systems, essential
• Relevant electrical or hydraulic marine systems experience
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
• Comfortable working independently and within a high-performance team
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement

Operations Manager

Full Time · Gold Coast City Marina, Coomera QLD

About the role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager is responsible for leading our team of marine engineers and ensuring every project is delivered to the highest standard, on time, on budget, and to the certified quality our clients and insurance partners expect. This is a hands-on leadership role at the centre of our operation, suited to someone who knows the marine service industry inside and out.

Key responsibilities

• Managing daily workshop and field operations
• Scheduling labour, resources and vessel works
• Liaising with vessel owners, captains, shipyards and suppliers
• Overseeing project delivery, quality control and compliance
• Supporting technicians with technical guidance and troubleshooting
• Assisting on the tools when required to support project deadlines and operational demands

What you’ll bring

• Prior experience managing a marine engineering team
• Extensive experience in the marine service industry
• A high level of communication skills, coordinating effectively across teams, clients and stakeholders
• Strong organisational and leadership capabilities
